One thing you have to love on BMX/MTB is the fact, that no matter where on earth you show up at bike park, you are at that moment part of the community and have friends. Pitteskogen dirt jumps in Bergen were the ultimate lifesaver for my sanity when moving to foreign country. I simply cannot stop jumping on bike after more than 20 years of doing so.

fun lines, good times

When I moved in in 2022 I have heard of the place from one of my coworkers, there was basically just one complete jump and one half-piled up landing for another. As of today, there are 3 complete super-fun lines thanks to the local heroes Bakkestilforeningen (I don’t dare to translate that one), particularly Bjørnar, Joakim and Espen.

Super comfortable kickers, small/medium sized jumps, perfect combination for retired BMXer like me. The only downside is I am not able to ride Pitteskogen as often as I would like to.
